AAS 455 - ECCE: African American Popular Culture
African Americans have contributed greatly to American culture. This course presents and analyzes a sampling of literature, music, film, sports, and fashion. Particular attention will be given to how African American expression culture merges (or clashes) with European American structure. Course Information: This course fulfills an Engaged Citizenship Common Experience requirement at UIS in the area of U.S. Communities.
