PSC 242 - Statistics for Social Sciences
This course explains the basic principles of statistical analysis used throughout much of the social sciences. Concepts include sampling, variables, descriptive statistics, visual presentation of data, basic probability, principles of inference, and basic statistical tests. These concepts are taught by examining real-world data through the lens of political campaigns. Course Information:This course fulfills a general education requirement at UIS in the area of Mathematics.
