COM 101 - Understanding Media
This course will study communications media, from the first media of early civilizations to the current explosion and convergence of digital media in the information age. The focus will be on how media have influenced the maintenance of social order and have been agents of change. Course Information: This course fulfills a general education requirement at UIS in the area of Freshman Seminar.
