CAP 352 - ECCE: Colonial and Post Colonial Identity in South Asia
Studies the relationship of the British to the population of South Asia from the perspective of identity. Course covers the culture and civilization of South Asia; essentialist and social constructivist theories of race/nation/caste; and various strains of identity that emerged from the colonial experience. Course Information: This course fulfills an Engaged Citizenship Common Experience requirement at UIS in the area of Global Awareness.
