PSC 301 - Introduction to Political Studies
Introduction to the discipline that focuses on the tools of understanding and their application to the major questions that define the study of politics. Emphasis is on questions such as: What is politics? How do we provide public goods? Why do we need governments? How do we resolve conflict? How do we get people to cooperate with each other? Applications will cover the breadth of world politics. Course Information: This course fulfills a general education requirement at UIS in the area of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
