MPH 222 - ECCE: Global Health Issues
Introduction to current issues in global health including: socioeconomic determinants of health, the differential burden of disease in various regions of the world, health inequalities, issues of nutrition and food security, the impact of environmental changes and pollution and the role of public health interventions in improving population health. Course Information: This course fulfills an Engaged Citizenship Common Experience requirement at UIS in the areas of Global Awareness or ECCE Elective.
