This course explores the various philosophical theories of human beings that impinged on various rhetorical theories and practices from classical times through Roman times. We will explore the ethical dimensions of rhetoric as we see how it affects service both to the polls and to one¿s fellow persons. Course Information: This course fulfills an Engaged Citizenship Common Experience requirement at UIS in the areas of Engagement Experience or ECCE Elective.
