CRJ 364 - ECCE: Communities, Fear, and Crime Control
This course will explore fear of crime in society and principles of crime control and community safety. The effectiveness of several crime prevention strategies will be reviewed, such as social interventions, media campaigns, environmental design, situational factors, and police strategies. Course Information: This course fulfills an Engaged Citizenship Common Experience requirement at UIS in the area of ECCE U. S. Communities or in the area of ECCE Elective.
