HIS 202 - European History
Picking up with the year 1348, this survey examines the development of modern Europe. Topics include the aftereffects of the Crusades, the rise of market capitalism, the Black Death, the division of Christianity, the formation of nation-states, industrialization, and the spread of European influence across the world.
