|SOA 372 - ECCE: Nature, History, and Human Action|
Interdisciplinary investigation of human-environment relationships from prehistory to present. Emphasis on building sense of place through study of local landscape history. Archaeological and ethnographic case studies illustrate ways in which human action has shaped the natural world and emphasize cultural diversity in attitudes toward nature and environmental problem solving. Course Information: This course fulfills an Engaged Citizenship Common Experience requirement at UIS in the areas of Global Awareness or ECCE Elective.
