|HIS 375 - ECCE: Conflict in the Middle East|
The various conflicts that have wracked the Middle East over the last two centuries are examined. The specifics of each conflict are considered, as well as the larger factors that have helped lay the groundwork for them. Among the latter are the historical relationships between the Middle East and the "West," which in many respects had been characterized by the latter's political and economic domination of the former.
