|ENG 335 - Early American Literature|
Survey of American literature from contact through 1865, including texts from the colonial, revolutionary, and antebellum periods. Focus will be upon literary analysis and literary movements contextualized by American history and culture. Course Information: Prerequisites: ENG 101 and ENG 102 or equivalent. This course fulfills a general education requirement at UIS in the area of Humanities.
